SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) at Nichols-Lawson Middle School in Sylacauga added 53 new inductees at a formal ceremony Wednesday, March 15.
During the ceremony, a lighting of five candles signified the five attributes new NJHS members are expected to display and uphold. Those attributes are character, citizenship, leadership, scholarship, and service.
The 53 new members join the existing 29 students already in the Society.
