This month’s First Responder of the Month is Officer Donnie Landers with the Sylacauga Police Department. Landers entered the police academy in 1977 and is still a proud officer today at nearly 67 years old. Landers also has more twenty years of ambulance service. “I just love being a policeman and serving my community,” said Landers. Landers is married to Donna and has one daughter and two grandchildren. Thank you Donnie Landers for your service!
The First Responder of the Month is presented by Radney-Smith Funeral Home. Each First Responder of the Month receives a $50 VISA gift card from First Bank of Alabama.
