BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –  Multiple tornadoes barreled through the state of Alabama on Thursday, impacting the blood supply throughout Alabama.

LifeSouth urges the community to help, by donating blood. Blood drive cancellations, due to the severe weather have left local hospitals in emergency need for blood.

Donors can stop by LifeSouth’s Birmingham or Tuscaloosa donor centers and help support their community during this difficult time.
