State of Alabama sending National Guard for inauguration security

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The state of Alabama has activated 750 Army National Guard soldiers to help provide security for the inauguration of President-Elect Joe Biden.

The FBI has warned that armed protests were being planned at all 50 state capitals and Washington in the days leading up to the inauguration on Jan. 20.

The precautious follow the deadly riots at the Capitol in Washington on Jan. 6 that left five people dead and several others injured.
