SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga’s newest thrift store wants to share the joy of Christmas with those in need this holiday season.
Driftin ‘N’ Giftin will be giving away clothes to those in need on Dec. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“Giving away clothes is just a small gesture,” said owner Lark Dunaway “I hope I can make a small difference in someone’s life, who may be in need.”
The clothes giveaway is just one of the many ways Dunaway and her family will be giving back to the community this holiday season.
During the month of December, the Driftin ‘N’ Giftin family will be giving away care packages, which include a full Christmas meal and wrapped gifts for those in need.
“There are many families in our community, who are in need this holiday season,” said Dunaway “I encourage everyone to help someone in the community in any way that they can, especially during these times.”
Driftin ‘N’ Giftin is located at 305 West 8th St. in Sylacauga across from B.B. Comer High School.
