SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Debbie Barnett and Bobby Hall have been interim co-athletic directors for Sylacauga City Schools since November of 2019. Today, the interim tag was dropped.
The Sylacauga City Schools Board of Education approved the recommendation from Supt. Dr. Jon Segars.
Barnett is a former principal in the school system, and Hall a former coach. Both are central board employees.
When the two became co-athletic directors in November Segars said, “Both of them bring leadership and understanding of the communities. They are from here. Both of these leaders know the kids. That’s what’s most important…they know what the students’ needs are.”
