[VIEW] Running graph of nation and state unemployment claims

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Associated Press has created a graph charting unemployment claims across the country beginning in the year 2000.

So far, over 3 million people have filed for unemployment across the nation. Most of those are in the hospitality industry.

The graph can be adjusted by state and by year to show how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected employment across the United States.
