COOSA COUNTY, Ala. -The Coosa County Sheriff’s Office is launching a murder investigation in a Sunday fatal shooting after what was initially thought to be a traffic accident.
The shooting happened Sunday at 9:30 p.m.
A CCSO press release said deputies were called to a traffic accident that was later found to be the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Andre Lamonde Davis, a black male from Kellyton.
The investigation is underway and is being conducted by the State Bureau of Investigation.
