SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga’s paving project is coming to a close.

The project that started in April is winding down according to the project’s engineer Michael Rice.

The main stretch of Coaling Rd. was completed Thursday and the side roads were planned to be paved today. Once this area is complete, the original bid for the project will be concluded.

However, more paving will resume next week.

Beginning Monday, contractors plan on paving W. Clay St., S. Church Ave., Pineview Ln., and Monroe Ave.

If the weather hold sup, all paving should be finished by next week.
