Three week burglary investigation concluded after Wednesday arrest

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – A Sylacauga man has been arrested on burglary charges after a 3-week investigation.

According to the Sylacauga Police Dept., 30-year-old Dustin Leon Carr was arrested on Wednesday following an investigation into a burglary that occurred on July 5 at Adding Space Self Storage buildings on Hwy. 280 in Sylacauga.

Carr was booked for Burglary 3rd Degree and transported to the Talladega Co. Jail.

The bond in the case was set by Judge Rumsey at $15,000.

This charge is a Class “C” Felony and could carry a 1-10 year prison sentence.
