SYLACAUGA, Ala. – New employees were introduced to the assembly of teachers and staff members at the annual Institute general session of Sylacauga City Schools held Aug. 1.
Indian Valley welcomes kindergarten teachers Robin Scott and Tiffany Smith, first grade teacher Octavia Billups, second grade teachers Bethany Forbus, Stacie Blankenship, and Kiesa Bulambo, special education teacher Lauren Potts, Pre-K instructional assistant Dana Hale.
Pinecrest new teachers are Micah Richardson, third grade, Carrie Brooks, fifth grade, and Brooke Williams, special education instructional assistant. Joining the Pinecrest staff for the first semester as assistant principal is Joe Cordi.
New staff at Nichols-Lawson includes Ashley Spencer, sixth grade science, and Lesia Horton, Child Nutrition.
Sylacauga High School new teachers are Jessica Carmack, Health Sciences, and Nicole Crimi, History.
The Transportation department welcomes John Arant to the staff as a new bus driver.
Jennifer Rosato, Executive Director of Teaching and Learning, commented, “We are excited about the experience and enthusiasm our new employees bring. These highly-qualified individuals will join our current staff to have a positive impact on our students.”
