Gov. Kay Ivey announces Alabama’s unemployment rate for March meets historic low

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Gov. Kay Ivey has proclaimed that Alabama’s preliminary March unemployment sits at 2.9 percent. This rate ties the all-time record low unemployment percentage previously registered in Sept. 2019.
