Top two teams in Talladega Co. to square off in hoops tonight; Aggies look to extend winning streak over rival

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The top two seeds in the upcoming Talladega County basketball tournament will face-off tonight.

Sylacauga will host the Talladega High School Tigers tonight at Douglass-Martin Court. The meeting will be the second between these schools on the season. In December, Sylacauga knocked off Talladega at Chuck Miller arena which it had not done in many years.

The Aggies (14-4) come in to the match-up with the best record in the county. Talladega (14-5) barely trail the Aggies with the second best record in the county.

Last season, Sylacauga went 1-3 vs. Talladega, but won the game that counted in the Final Four at the BJCC in Birmingham. Tonight the Tigers will try to break a two game losing streak to the Aggies.
