Sylacauga woman killed in Friday night Coosa County crash

COOSA COUNTY, Ala. – A two-vehicle crash Friday night claimed the life of a Sylacauga Woman.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Valeria Lisa Oden, 55, was killed when the Honda Accord she was driving collided with a Hyundai Sonata just north of Rockford on Hwy. 231 near Sears Chapel.

The crash happened at 7:30 p.m. Oden was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in the vehicle Oden was driving suffered injuries along with two others in the Hyundai.

Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
