SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The wait is nearly over. Sylacauga’s newest gym, Workout Anytime, is set to open next week.

On Thursday night, delivery trucks parked outside the gym’s entrance and prepared to unload the gym’s state-of-the-art equipment. Workout Anytime, located on W. Fort Williams St. beside the new Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, prides itself on the quality, diversity and mass inventory of equipment. “The equipment is being moved in and installed as we speak,” said General Manager Barry Nave. “We are excited to take the final steps towards opening our doors and we are even more excited to let members in next week.”

Nave told SylacaugaNews.com his gym will be more than equipped to handle the large number of people expected to become members of Workout Anytime. Nearly 40 machines will be dedicated to cardio while over 80 pieces of equipment dedicated to weight training in the 8,000 sq. ft. facility. “We have equipment for all ages and all abilities,” Nave stated. “We are a gym for everyone. We can cater to the elite athlete, the seniors, and your everyday guy or girl looking to get in shape or stay in shape.”

As SylacaugaNews.com toured the facility on Friday, it noticed one of the gym’s astonishing features. On each piece of equipment, there is a bar code which can be scanned by your mobile device. Once the code is scanned using one of the many apps found in your app-store, a tutorial for the specific piece of equipment will appear. Owner of the gym Wes Caudell said many people are intimidated to ask questions on how to use equipment. He explained the bar codes not only teach users how to properly use specific equipment, but also promote safety in the gym.

If you have driven up and down Broadway Ave. lately you have certainly noticed the Workout Anytime temporary office just across from Magnolias where the staff has been signing up members for just $1. The deal, that was supposed to be limited time offer, is still available to anyone and everyone who wants to be a part of the Workout Anytime Family. “We are extending the enrollment deal throughout the month of September,” Nave explained. ”

Tomorrow, Saturday Sept. 16, Nave and his team will be set up at the Workout Anytime Facility from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nave is encouraging everyone to come by and check out the gym before it opens. At the open-house like event, members and potential members will be able to learn about the gym and glimpse of what it will be like before officially opening its doors.

Workout Anytime will be equipped with five personal trainers, tanning beds, modified bikes and steppers along other amenities. For more information on special deals and offers, you can visit WorkoutAnytime.com.
