SYLACAUGA, Ala. – On Saturday, March 3, the Sylacauga High School Varsity Boys Basketball team defeated Eufaula 79-78 in an epic overtime thriller in the Class 5A State Championship game at the BJCC in Birmingham.
On Thursday, the team celebrated with its city with a championship parade through downtown Sylacauga.
Hundreds gathered on the sidewalks of Broadway Avenue to congratulate the hometown heroes.
