[PHOTOS] Annual November Artists Exhibition at the Comer Museum and Arts Center on display now

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Comer Museum and Arts Center is currently hosting their Annual November Artists Exhibition.

The Annual November Artists Exhibition is one of the museum’s largest shows of the year. Forty local artists have created over 70 pieces of original art for this exhibit, depicting a vast variety of subjects, techniques, styles, and mediums. The artists this year come from ten different cities in Alabama including Sylacauga, Talladega, Childersburg, Columbiana, and Alabaster.

The art on display is available for purchase, and prices range from $5 to $523. This exhibition is a great opportunity to purchase an original piece of art for a Christmas gift or to display in your home.

The Artists Reception is Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The reception is free to the public, and food and beverage will be available. Live music will be performed by Rick and Gilda from New Site, Ala. The exhibit is on display for public viewing until Nov. 29, 2018.

The artists participating this year are Brenda Armstrong, Gregory Bailey, Amber Behnke, Sandra Brown, Marshall Chandler, Billie Cleckler, Joe Copeland, Liz Douglas, Cheryl Eyster, David Green, Judy Green, Richard Grizzle, Nona Lee, Misty Payne, Donna Rentfrow, Sue Ridley, Alice Thomas, Ann Timmerman, Geneva Usrey, Zach Vaugh, and Icey Wallace from Sylacauga, Madelyn Carr Bonnett, Liz Masoner, and Samantha Masoner from Columbiana, Robin Cooper, Edward Jennings, Freddie Nell Jones, Brenda McCain, Ricky McCain, and Cathy Sorrell from Talladega, Elena Crattic, Debra Foster, Elma Schablow, and Ken Schablow of Childersburg, William Duck of Lincoln, Susan Hazzard of Pell City, Chick Lively of Sterrett, Bob Quarles of Birmingham, Linda Shaw of Bridgeport, and Bill Spencer of Alabaster.
