CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – An inmate is on the loose after escaping from an Alabama Department of Corrections facility in Childersburg.
Late last night, inmate Casey Daniel Cook escaped from the Childersburg Work Release Center.
Cook has been serving time for a drug charge stemming from last November in St. Clair County.
Cook is a white male standing at 5-feet 9-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.
He is said to be wearing a dark blue hat with a white LA Dodgers logo, black undershirt and a teal short sleeve shirt. He could also be wearing a black long sleeve shirt with logo, black sweat pants, black shoes with white soles.
