Goo-Goo Express Wash coming to Oak Grove

SHARE NOW

OAK GROVE, Ala. – New building projects are popping up all across the city of Sylacauga and surrounding areas. Next to Vansandt Hardware on Hwy. 280, land has been cleared and construction will soon be underway for a brand new Goo-Goo Car Wash.

Owners pride the wash on being completely hands-free.

Timeout.

Hands-free? That’s right.

Customers will initially arrive at a payment station where they will choose their specific wash. After payment, Goo-Goo employees will prep the vehicle. Then it is left up to the wash itself to take control. Cars will be pulled through the tunnel, lathered, brushed, and dried upon completion.

Owner Darren Bradham told SylacaugaNews.com the Oak Grove location will be an express-only facility. The Goo-Goo Express will offer its trademark three minute express wash and other amenities. The facility will be equipped with multiple high powered vacuum stations, free of charge to customers with no time limit. Goo Goo will also have free floor mat cleaning stations.

“Sylacauga is a great fit for Goo-Goo” said Bradham. He said the community can look forward to “well dressed, clean cut employees” and the “state-of-the-art equipment” that Goo Goo has to offer.

Goo-Goo currently has 54 locations operating across the country. Construction on the Oak Grove location will begin sometime during the week of Nov. 14. No date for completion has been set.
