FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – People from Sylacauga may know her as a high school track champion, but Morgan O’Neal continues her dominance in college at the Division I level.

O’Neal committed to run track for the University of Missouri in Nov. 2017 and graduated from Sylacauga High School in 2018 with state championships in the 100m, 300m and 400m hurdles.

O’Neal has been on a tear in the Southeastern Conference running for the Tigers. Last week in a meet vs. Arkansas in the John McDonnell Invitational last week, she ran her best time in a college meet in the 400m hurdles, winning the event with a time of 59.98. O’Neal improved her time in the event for the fourth time this season, as she began the season at 1:01.35 at the Herm Wilson Invitational (March 23), then ran a 1:01.18 at the Texas Relays (1:01.18) and a 1:00.83 at the Mizzou Spring Open (April 6).
