MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Carson Grier, Jr. has been a B.B. Comer Tiger all his life.

As a graduate of Comer, he gained valuable experience in the sports world during his time as a student participating in three sports. The black and gold has always been a part of his life.

After graduating from UAB, Carson was working for a local company making a very good living. However, he knew that was not what God called him to do. He left his job to make a difference in kids’ lives as a teacher and as a coach. He has spent more than 25 years of his life doing just that. Nineteen of those years were spent at his alma mater. Coaching in playoff games, state tournaments, and county championships, he has experienced it all.

In 1995, Carson coached the Tigers in the 3A State Championship at Cordova where they finished 14-1.

Carson did not stop there. His coaching opportunities led him to take a coaching position at Beauregard. Last week, his Hornets took home the 5A State Championship.
