BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory in effect across Central Alabama until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.

MORNING…

* VISIBILITY…less than one half of a mile at times.

* IMPACTS…Low visibility will make travel difficult at times.
Motorists are urged to increase their following distance, allow
extra time to reach their destinations, and only use low beam
headlights.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one half of a mile. If driving, slow down,
use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead
of you.
