SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Another day, another grand-opening for a small business in the city of Sylacauga.
On Monday at 1:30 p.m., Quality Food Mart in Sylacauga held its grand-opening celebration.
Members of the Sylacauga City Council, along with members of the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce, came out for the ribbon cutting ceremony as well as a meal and drinks provided by the owners of the service station.
The Quality Food Mart is located just across from the Subway restaurant on Hwy. 21. Managing partner of Quality Food Mart Sam Lalani told SylacaugaNews.com he bought the store from the Allen family, which owns multiple station through Sylacauga and the surrounding area, in 2007. He recently completely renovated the store making it look like new both inside and out.
This is not Lalani’s only service station. He said he owns five others that are scattered throughout East-Central Alabama.
Lalani explained his goal is to serve the people of Sylacauga with reasonable gas prices and all products they could ever need at a service station.
