SYLACAUGA, Ala. – SylacaugaNews.com recently reported the new Jack’s building on Broadway Ave. would open in mid-December, but that probably will not be the case.
The reason: rain.
According to General Manager Michael Cook, he said progress was moving quickly but the recent rain has slowed the project.
Cook told SylacaugaNews.com his restaurant’s partial opening has been pushed back a few weeks and he is tentatively planning for Dec. 26. A grand opening will take place sometime after that in the near future.
“The new building will have a better design, better layout, and a new burger.” said Cook.
And yes, a new burger.
“The Better Burger” is already available to customers at other Jack’s locations but Sylacauga residents can get their hands on one soon.
What about the current Jack’s? The building will be torn down and used as additional parking for customers.
