Governor Ivey to hold news conference on Tropical Storm Cindy

CLANTON, Ala. – Gov. Kay Ivey will hold a news conference on the state’s response to Tropical Storm Cindy Thursday at 12:00 p.m. According to the National Weather Service offices in Alabama, the state is expected to experience heavy flooding over the next couple of days.

Joining Gov. Ivey will be Alabama Emergency Management Director Art Faulkner and State Meteorologist Jim Stefkovich to provide updated information on weather conditions.

The news conference will take place at the Alabama Emergency Management Agency – Emergency Operations Center in Clanton.
