SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The delicious Blue Bell ice cream made right here in our own back yard on N. Norton Ave. will enter many major markets in the coming weeks.

On Monday, March 6 Blue Bell will be available in grocery stores across Arizona. “We are very excited to be back in our Arizona markets,” said Blue Bell sales executive Chris Stephens. “It’s going to be great to be back in Phoenix and Tuscon.”

Blue Bell has reopened its distribution facilities located in Apache Junction, Phoenix and Tucson to service the area. “Our staff will total around 60 employees at these three Arizona locations,” said Ricky Dickson, Blue Bell president. “Initially, we will bring in additional employees from other states to help with the opening. It could take up to two weeks to get our products to every store.”

Also on Monday, March 6, Blue Bell will enter Wilmington, N.C. and surrounding areas. Blue Bell has opened a distribution facility located in Castle Hayne to service the area. “Our staff has been working very hard over the past several months preparing for the opening,” Dickson said. “With this addition, our ice cream is now available in most of North Carolina.”

The growth does not stop there. Blue Bell also announced it will re-open its distribution facility in Centennial, Colorado to serve Denver and many surrounding areas including cities in Wyoming. “We’re finally re-entering the Denver market and the Rocky Mountains,” said Stephens. “We’re really excited to be back there and sell the best ice cream in the country.”

“It has always been our goal to return to Denver, and we believe that we are in a great position to expand our sales territory next year,” said Ricky Dickson, vice president of sales and marketing for Blue Bell. “We will have an outstanding variety of flavors and products to offer our fans in Colorado.”
